Dr. Foster believes that proper mental health treatment allows individuals to function at their highest capacity in all domains of life. Whether your goal is to improve relationships (with others or yourself) or target specific areas of functioning (such as at school or in your career), Dr. Foster believes that medications alone or in combination with psychotherapy can be instrumental in your growth. She prides herself in bringing creativity and energy to each doctor-client relationship.

  • Attended the University of Texas at Austin, elected to Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society, and graduated high honors with a B.S. degree in Human Biology


  • Attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX  where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.


  • Trained at University of California Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric Institute after medical school where she was appointed Chief Resident in the Women's Mental Health Clinic.


  • After her residency, Dr. Foster began a private practice in the Santa Monica area and has been in clinical practice since 2011. 


  • She remains a staff associate physician for the inpatient unit at UCLA with admitting priviledges, and also attends in the Generalized Outpatient Clinic supervising residents.

  • She has worked for the county mental health clinics helping to serve the under-served
